Has anyone tried grafting a mother photoperiod?

    Greetings!

Just curious if any of you have tried grafting.

I am thinking of doing this for my wife to have a multi strain mother in a small location; to count as a single plant I do plan on keeping it in veg for probably a good 2-3 years or more.

The biggest concern I have is: Will the graft eventually take on the rooted genetics? I know it will grow, but ya...

    If you have:
What material did you use to graft? Duct tape? Electrical tape?
How well did the graft take? (I assume the same as a broken branch)
Did your graft take on the same properties as the rooted plant?
How well would an Indica and Sativa graft?
How well would a CBD vs THC graft?
    What were your results?
Is there any main concerns that should be taken into account? (Besides the obvious "V" cut) and to have it wrapped up afterwards.

Thank you anyone who provides information!

Please visit www.honestgr.ca for reviews on grow equipment. It is going slowly as I am trying to find products to review (and supportive companies!) I do giveaways there, do not tell me your from GWE however.

Absolutely very doable! I think I will be doing it sooner than later!

Yes, this can be done. For plant count issues, why not try tissue culture? Plants are typically defined as rooted, you can have as many tissue donors as you want so long as they have no roots.
