Ok, some background is in order..
I have been growing now for a few years due to the confidence I gained by reading this site front to back! So, first off, Thank You! I never would have started without the knowledge resting in one place!
I used 50ppm colloidal silver, it is called Ultra Colloidal Bio-Silver Concentrate, to create feminized pollen on a strain that I created last run. (I will work on a journal for this project, and stick it in the tutorial section eventually if needed) This was a Critical +(female) X Some (male) bag seed I got from my Uncle that tasted and smelled like lemons. Lets just call it Uncle Mikes Lemon.. I dont even know if thats a real strain..
The first seed I grew from this batch was magically female! So, after successfully creating the female pollen on the Uncle Mikes Lemon, she then pollinated the other two female plants I have in my tent, White Widow, and Galaxy, which is exactly what I was going for... a tent full of feminized seeds!
Anyways, I went on vacation for a week, and even though I had the exhaust fan running, the room I have my plants in was sitting in 90%+ humidity for the week!
Not good!
I was quickly able to get things under control with an extra fan, and lower the humidity to around 55% for the last few days to get rid of excess moisture, but I fear damage may have already been done.
Blurple lights are not easy to tell if I have the beginning stages of bud rot, and since its a seed grow, I dont have much bud.. I have mainly seeds, and since I had been spraying my plant with colloidal silver, I wasnt going to smoke any of that one anyways.
I am on week 6 or 7? of flower, and I have decided, bud rot or not, I am finishing this grow, just to get the feminized seeds!
My biggest question is, Will the bud rot affect my developing seeds for any future growth?
Additionally, as so much went wrong this time, my White Widow is totally messed up!
I initially thought Mosaic Virus, so I just shoved it into the corner and it was just going to wind up being my hash plant, but it looks more like it has a Phosphorous deficiency to me.. This would be nice to know for when I test this new strain out, which I am hoping to do in the next few weeks!
I am using General Organic Go Box,Leap Frog Soil, and every other feeding, I give my plants molasses water (1/2 tsp/gal), which is probably why I burn everything I have grown..
I use a 108 watt draw, 600 watt equivalent led in a 4'X2' tent.
Because of my nutrient choice, I dont pH, and I got tired of spending "just another $20" to optimize, so I dont pph either..
LOL If it really comes down to me having to fret over loosing a few grams because I burn my plants, ill just plant another plant.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance,
