HELP! First Grow - 1 of 4 Seedling stunted?

    Hi Folks,

I'm working on my first grow, and I'm about a week since putting them into soil (germinated on paper towel). The strain is Freedom Dream (may have heard of it before on the forums, the seeds the Canadian guy is giving away by the 100s).

In anycase, my immediate issue is that 1 of my 4 seedlings seems stunted, actually comparing photos today, it's pretty clearly dying. It was the 2nd to sprout from the soil but after that it just seemed to have stopped growing and actually getting worse. It may already be too late for it.

I've attached some photos. First from April 24 at 8am, then yesterday (25th) at 11am and then later at 8pm that night. Also for comparison I've attached a photo of another seed from the same batch that sprouted a little later than the one that is struggling and you can see is doing well. All plants have the same conditions etc but for some reason just this one is struggling. Any thoughts? Is it too late for her?

Some of the slow Growers turn into the biggest plants.

You need to have patience, make sure you don't overwater them and let them grow their roots first before expecting a big plant.

1 week down 16 more to go.

can you tell us about your soil? Watering practices? Pot size And Ph?

by Nebula Haze Sometimes you want to start your cannabis seeds or clones directly in their final container. This saves time transplanting from smaller containers to big ones. However, when weed seedlings are growing in a big pot, they are easy to overwater so you need to make sure you’re watering plants properly. Read on...

You might try a humidity dome, and misting it for a bit of a boost. I like to use distilled water.

Not too late. Maybe she needs to dry out ..your medium is a little muddy looking. If your in soil its good to let em dry out some. They get oxygen by drying out. They will damp off at the soil line if they get too moist for long times.

but she will be fine. So far i dont see any dying off. The first few weeks are the toughest if you ask me. These plants are amazingly resilient ...my cat ripped some that size clear outta the dirt...n i replanted and bout to harvest them. Lol albeit stunted, they lived.

        Good luck

Northern Dream - Dana Larsen's choice for free medical Marijuana. Not my choice to grow. 0.1% THC and much higher in the CBD department. Regular seeds as well - you'll have to sex them as well once they get quite a bit bigger.

          Good luck growing.
