When should I start useing my 315 sunsystem lec with autos.

I started with two platinum P150 leds for seedlings with veg light only on. I turned on the flower lights after about 3 1/2 weeks. They started flowering at 4 weeks and I put on the 315 sunsystem watt light around 4 1/2 weeks at a height of 36 inches with one platinum led still on both switches. A few leaves here and there are cupping after 3 days. This is a new light and it came with no manufacturer recommendations. Some leaves are pointing up, some are flat and a few down. Not necessarily ones directly under light. Assume I know what I'm doing other than light. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    hey Dutchman1 ,

does that system have any manufacturer label on it?
    maybe a model number?

    maybe this may help? http://www.sunsystemlights.com/tools/lighting-tool

I found something finally on the manufactures site after missing it the first time. It said 24" to 36" but, Im wondering when to switch over to it . In veg, beginning of flower, later in flower?Thought someone with more experience with it would know.

I think, its a question of hours of light rather than when to switch over to it...

Found this grow journal on the main site, with a system just like yours...

Ready to grow up to a pound of cannabis at home? All you need to do is follow the 8 simple steps of this growing tutorial using a 315 LEC grow light.

only thing changed is height of the lamp and hours of light given.

About two weeks worked for my autos and me from floresents to my 315 LEC, but since then I’ve started seeds under the same 315 and am keeping them there. I keep the distance at 20” from light on 24/7 I’m running a sun system all in one, with the ballast built in, a nice unit.
If your leaves are tocoing your eather to hot or to close, check the temp at the top of the canopy, if good, move light away inch by inch till sweet spot is found. Lol

My temps are 65 at night to 72/73 during the 18 hour on time. Light is 32-36 inches away ( varies by plant). I have the same unit as you Potted.

That’s quite a difference in distance from mine? What brand bulb? I’m using a Phillips, and do u have a exaust fan going for on time?
im growing 4 different strains 6 plants total in s.p.’s 3 gal.s and growing in ffof w perlite, doing fine, the only complaint I have with the light is it a bit heavy at one end,I dident trust my ratchet to hold so I put 2 at that end.

Same bulb that came with it ( its a phillips). Its in a 10 by 8 room in the cellar with a heater, Humidifier and plants are raised up off the floor a foot. Fan is blowing on plants lightly. No exhaust fan. Organic soil, in 3 gallon airpots, feeding em megacrop in last couple of weeks. No burn from nutes or light ( yet).

Did u mix and ph your water before leaving, or did someone else? I’ve found that ph drifts the longer the water sits around unused.

I did mix it before I left, But he decided to feed em twice in a row even though I said just water em. I was only gone for 8 days.

Im not going to worry about it. Its mostly confined to one plant on 1/3 of leaves randomly around middle and one or two on top. No new growth has exhibited this so Im just gonna forget it for now. Thanks for the input Potted.

Hay Dutch, next time u got to leave them, this is a simple way to water that works ( without anyone else ) water plants normal, take empty wine bottles fill with water bury bottles upside down till thay stand straight up I prefer making holes in soil ahead so tips don’t clog the plant will only draw on the bottles when finished with what’s in the pots already and will last avarge of a week the more wine u drink the longer you can. Stay Away.
