    last weeks, flushing, trichomes etc....

I'm in week 8 of flower now and things are looking good. I always have a few questions at this time about things that are always unclear to me

    1. trichomes are cloudy but no amber, none. there may be some clear here and there. How much time does it take to go from cloudy to amber, around 30%? Am I right in starting a flush now, thinking the final week or so will give me what I;m looking for OR is it too soon and I'll be robbing them of nutes?

    2. In flush is cal-mag and But Explosion, Cool Bloom, or other ripening formula....are these things removed or continued to the end? I like the idea of keeping them in so they can continue to ripen healthily but will it make for harsh weed?

    3. I'm thinking of chopping the large tops first, then letting the lower stuff fatten up. Is it worth it?

I start to get crazy fingers around this time, wanting to chop and start again.............

    1. It will depend on what kind of effect you what from your buds, 100% cloud= All THC/cbd, the more Amber the more sleepy the weed from cbn. It will still ripen a little after harvest.
    2. Flushing is plain water only to allow your plant to up take and use everything from the medium and leaf reserve of mobile nutrient. Flushing is not required in soil grows
    3. Yes, staged harvest is a great idea if your lower is not ready when your upper is.

    4. pictures would help a ton.

      thanks.
I understand how the trichomes work, I just don't know how long the changes takes. two weeks from all cloudy to some amber or more like 5 days? this kind of thing. I also get that each plant and environment is different, just trying to get an idea of what to look for regarding time frame
