    HELP! Unknown plant deficiency

Anyone know what this is. I'm an indoor hydroponic grower, using flood and drain with pure hydroton media and General Hydroponics nutrients. Educated answers backed with science or explanation please thank you!

    hey IC,

i'll assume that you have your pH under control, so looking at the planet doctor guide i can guess 2 things:

    Maybe Iron - https://www.growweedeasy.com/iron-deficiency-cannabis
    Maybe Zinc - https://www.growweedeasy.com/zinc-deficiency-cannabis

whats the baseline ppm & pH of your water?

a few weeks ago i finished my Essentials ph Down solution and went onto GH pH down.
appart from it needing a lot longer to stabilise, I need a lot more pH down to get it to normal levels. (11ml Essentials vs 46ml of GH)

was causing rather big pH swings (5.8 at water change -> 7.0 in 24 hrs)... needing extra pH down to get back to 5.9.

maybe someone else has another better educated guess?

Hope you find out what it is!

I am still a newbie, but have read as much as I can in the 75 days into this awesome hobby. Buy #FlyingDutchPaddy I think is on the right track. I live in a smaller city in MI and my PH will swing from 5.5 to 7.1, today it was 7.1 never seen it that high before. 6.8 was the highest reading I checked with my electric PH meter and my GH kit that came with PH solution. I would agree. I had no idea for the first several months what my water was at.

Yeah ph is perfect 6.0 yesterday 6.1 this morning. I use mad farmer ph adjustment. It's the best I've found for hydro. I was right there with you thinking that it must be iron zinc or magnesium, so three days ago when I did the res change I upped my cal-mag and flora micro. Definitely saw an increase in green and they have started to fill out much more but the same light growth nodes appear at new growth spots and the leaves look almost light bleached. I have a lumens reader and have the light casting about 65,000 lumens in the center and 35,000 on the edges of its footprint, still well within regulation. I'm stumped.... here's a picture of before the nutrient adjustment and after adjustment of the table.
