    Teddys 2019

    Hey GWE!

Feels good to get back here, it's been a crazy 2 months. New job and a pregnant wife (our first, yay!) have kept me pretty busy.

I've got a lot going on with the plants right now so I'm probably gonna break this up into 2 or 3 posts.

    I'm running a 3x3x6ft tent as well as a 2x2x4ft tent.

    In the 3x3 I'm using:
    315w CMH 3200k
4in 171cfm exhaust pulling through a carbon filter to out a window.
5 gallon swamp cooler home depot bucket, for humidity not cooling
2 small clip fans and 1 big fan.
1.5L cool mist humidifier on 24/7 on low.

My 2x2x4 is really my seedling and early veg tent. I'm currently running 4 6500k and 5000k cfls but am going to have to add some more here shortly.
No exhaust fan in here, just a small clip fan to keep things circulating and strengthen the young stems with a breeze.
I do have a hole on top of the temp open for some heat to escape. Conditions are almost identical to the big tent except the humidty stays around 60% in this tent.

    Ok, onto the plants!

I've harvested a Lemon OG and White Widow in the past 2 weeks. The LOG just made it into jars yesterday and the WW is still hanging for another week or so. Lost track of the days with these two unfortunately but the WW was at least 2, maybe 3, weeks shorter than the LOG.

LOG yielded 86 grams. Topped and LSTd

So, call it baby fever or whatever else youd like, but I went on a germinating rampage. I may be kicking myself for space later but I have 8 plants up and coming. 5 autos and 3 photos.

The photos are random seeds from a friend so unknown strain(s) I have all three in solo cups. I really looking to use these for 2 things. 1, practice training techniques and 2, see if I can keep a plant alive in a solo cup. #3 is already up and moving while the other 2 lag behind. These will probably stay in the 2x2 and may never see a flower light schedule but who knows at this point.

I may have bitten off more than I can chew but keep your fingers crossed, it could still be magnificent!

If I missed anything feel free to ask!

I'll get to nutes/additives in a future post, probably next time I water.

      Let there be life!

All 3 photos are up. All autos currently in dirt are up. Kosher13 will be going in to dirt after work, tap roots about 1/4 inch right now.

A little nervous for my photos and the two autos in Roots 707. I've been using super soil (Kind and Sohum) so I'm not very experienced with adding nutes.

All the girls are looking good. The autos in the 2x2 didnt seem to be liking the cfls so I've moved all of them to the 3x3 and kept only the photos in the 2x2.

The 2 in Roots707 got their first nute feeding yesterday at 1/2 strength and 2ml of calmag at 6.5ph Seeing a little burn on the FPOG but nothing excessive enough to worry about. Watered until 20% runoff. Forgot I need to test the runoff ph as well so I'll be doing that on all future waterings.

The 2 in Sohum Soil and 1 in Kind Soil got 6.6phd water with .5ml of mammothP, a tbsp of molasses, and 3ml calmag. I've found with each soil they run light on calmag towards the end of their cycle so I'm starting early this time. The plants are top watered until runoff and then allowed to soak that runoff back up into the pot. Might experiment with bottom feeding one of the Sohum plants. We'll see.

Everyone's looking good! Had a temp spike to 95F one day and upon checking my filter it was so clogged and dirty. Tried cleaning it and hooking back up to no avail. So I've ordered another that'll be here in a few days. Silver lining...my temps and RH are exactly where I want them.

The 2 one gallons are starting to take off. They got another feeding with 1/2 strength veg nutes, 2ml calmag, .6ml MammothP, 1tbsp unsulphered molasses at 6.4PH. Each bag took around 32oz to get 10-15% runoff. Runoff PH was 5.8 for the FPOG and 6.0 for the unknown.

The 3 others in 5 gallons with super soils all got around 48oz of 6.8PH water with 3ml calmag, .6ml MammothP, and 1tbsp unsulphered molasses.

Wowzers B.T. First off congrats on almost being a new baby daddy. You think the last few mos. have been hectic, just wait my friend, just wait. Secondly cudos onna good harvest. Great job on the photos also. Looks like you've got a plant/tent juggling act going on now. Maybe time to start shopping for a larger tent, then you'll have the trifecta. It seems you have the little darlins needs pretty well dialed in. We're all looking forward to watching your new crop and seeing the diff. if any in the sohum vs.super soil comparison. Oh yeah, sorry about your teddy, I hear Victoria's Secret's having a sale on em. Must have gotten it to close to @Retodds flux up. L O L.

Thanks PRIMO. Taking it one day at a time until the madness of the next 18 years begins lol.

I was very happy with my first two auto harvests. Happy enough to venture out of the super soil and try some actual feeding/reading the plants.

I'm always looking at upgrading but it's going to be my lights first, then maybe another tent.

So, realised I didnt update on my 3 little photos.

These 3 solo cups are filled with Sohum soil and I've been bottom watering them with the same veg nutes the 1 gallon autos are getting since whatevers in the Sohum isnt going to last them long with such a small amount of soil. Bottoms get refilled and wiped out everytime they're dry.

Hey BT, real nice grow !! The seedlings are so happy and the color is real deep. I really like the bottom feed approach! No overwatering, only takes what it needs. May attempt a normal grow this way seems interesting. Also congrats on the family addition and Job! Good Health to you and your family!!

New ducting and filter came in today, let's see how it plays with my temps. My fan is like 50% quieter after switching to this ducting and filter compared to the last set up. I'm hoping this HVAC ducting will help push heat out instead of the old aluminum one just radiating it back into the tent. Also going to have to pay attention to washing this pre filter on the carbon filter every month to keep the buildup on it to a minimum.

I got sent home from work early today due to a pretty bad snow storm so I've been putzing around the house with a lot of free time.

I've LSTd the FPOG and trimmed a couple fan leaves.

I dont think I ever posted about my nutes so here they are

The Grow Big and Tiger Bloom are only being used with the two 1 gallon pots and the 3 photos. It's my first time using these and not super soil.

Everything but the Big Bloom gets used every watering from seed. I start adding the Big Bloom once the flower stretch is done.

                All measurements are per gallon:
FF Grow Big - 2ml so far
Tiger Bloom - unknown - haven't used it yet
                Big Bloom - 3 Tbsp
                CalMag - 3ml
MammothP - try my best to get .6ml i eyeball it in the 1ml syringe
                Unsulphered molasses - 1 Tbsp

I keep my PH between 6.2 and 6.8.
