When is a male cannabis plant ready to harvest?

Hi everybody, I chose to keep my 4 male plants (in a very very separate area) to harvest and process into canna oil, and then make gummies out of
for the CBD and other beneficial cannabinoids. My question is : How do you know when to harvest the males?
Is it the same process as the girls? Cut, hang, dry, cure, then process into oil?
Will I lose the beneficial pollen during the hang drying time?
    Thank you in advance!

Take the pollen before harvesting for the fibrous part of the plant. Nebula's instruction might be of value to you. https://www.growweedeasy.com/how-to-pollinate-cannabis

The rest would be the same for drying, curing as far as I know. Any males I discover are dumpster bound.
