    Blumat system for watering

Hey GWE. I'm following a member who has a new hot soil that advises bottom watering. A blumat irrigation setup was suggested. I'm curious how to gage how much water would go into the water container, as sometimes the amount a plant takes differs. I'd be afraid of over or under watering.

I think the whole point of those devices is that it’s “automatic” in the sense it will pull water as needed. Bottom watering is like ebb and flow right? Put the pot in a couple inches of water and will suck the right amount? Idk I just googled those things

Yes, a Blumat pulls/gives water as needed.
****tent (2x4) and large light (Relassy 300W LED) is in storage for now until I can solve some household electrical issues****

CoM Stonington Blend soil, distilled water; Liquid Squid amendment if needed, molasses for flowering
