Anyone manually place plants in the dark?

I am running light 24/0 for autos, I got a couple photos that are couple weeks behind. Once I switch has bulb , I will remove the photos for 12 hrs dark each day.
    Has any done this?

Isn't that what you do when you go to 12/12 ?

I see what you are getting at. I considered it but could not find a dark place with ventilation. Get a second tent.

He means how to manually give some photos 12 hours darkness when he's growing also autos on 24/0 in the same tent. havent done such thing. But I've had outdoor plants flowering in summer. Just covering them with a big trash container or barrel upside down till night falls. It work pretty good but its not recommended for the whole 12 hours cause humidity will rise

That's what I mean. So it has to have a lil ventilation.

Do you a place outside of tent where they can get 12 hours of complete darkness?

This isn't my thread so op if this is off putting in any way I'll back off.

For me my tent is the inner sanctum, the holy of holys', so when I think about an inefficient use of that space I get uncomfortable. I like to fill my tent. Having the unused space with a 1k light, shudder, like I said. So that's why I said what I said before.

Maybe OP should start some more auto, to fill the space.

So I need double the photos to keep switching. Now that's efficient use of space.

I cant even imagine what it would look like to keep moving things around in a tent thats flowering 12/12 and moving autos out of there during the down light. I have a 12/12 tent right now and a room that the tents within- 4 x 8 - that has some led and cfl going 24 hrs for autos and vegging stuff. Im trying to dial down my veg right now to take advantage of autos. Planting 6 or 9 in a small footprint will bring great yields given the proper environment. Its hard to screw up 24/0 light- and fans- and the plants do their own thing! Training becomes optional - but also optimal- because a small 2 foot high plant fully flowing in her pot x 9 is beautiful- and when it looks like things are out of control- there is no more growth- as shes about to finish! No Autos 24/7 in tent with light , photos keep swapping . This is just an idea. I only got a 2x4 tent and 400 hid so it's small scale.
