alltatup, to be honest with you, I ain't smart enough to use one of them things, I don't believe, but I wish i was though.
I got one of them dry herb, things, but it's a cheap one 56-60bucks, an atmos something, but when I try to take a big hit on it, all that ever comes out is a little smoke, not much at all, it's a piece of sh-t. Lol
But I know those good ones work, and I'm gonna get a Nova one day, and learn how to do all that stuff.

its not you daas, those atmos vapes are shit. they where the first brand to make dry herb vapes but there are many new better products. i use to own an atmos RX and the only thing its useful for is if you take the glass filter off and use it to smoke hash

Still early, how is the battery charge holding up to your use? Re-charging more/less often than you expected?

Lurking, the battery is great. I used it for 3-4 bowls yesterday and it still shows full charge. This battery, which costs $60 to replace, is guaranteed for a year. I'm willing to pay that per year. And if you install the app on your phone, they replace the two year warranty with a five year warranty. So if this thing lasts for 5 years, I will be very happy.
This is why I got rid of the Haze vaporizer I had a couple of years ago: batteries needed frequent charging and frequent replacement. Then I decided fk the portable vaporizers: the batteries suck, and I went with a Plenty by Storz & Bickel. It's a nice plug-in vape, but it's slow to heat up (for the impatient vaper), and it's slow to cool down. It just doesn't have the kick that the MV1 does, which is only hot when you push the button and inhale.
I am really impressed with the MV1 vape experience, which feels more like a concentrate. And that's from a couple of bowls, each holding approximately .1 gm of bud. Yes: I said 1/10th of a gram. Hot damn!!! I know I should have saved the money for my old age, but fk that...

Amazon isn't an authorized seller. I bought mine at the Ghost website because I wanted to get the bundle with a rapid charger, an extra battery pack and the crucible carrier.
I started messing around with vapes in 2006, I think. They were these big glass contraptions that didn't do shit. Me and a friend tried one or two of those, and I went right back to my proto pipe.
In more recent years, I had an Arizer some time ago--don't remember much about it other than a long vape tube --, a Storz & Bickel Crafty more recently that was a complete pain in the arse to clean and didn't get me all that high. It had all these different-sized silicone rings all over it and the small ones broke real easily. Huge pain to clean.
Then I had a Haze, but the batteries drove me nuts with that one; the charge didn't last, nor did the batteries last. And at $30 bucks a pop... Really bad battery technology.
As I wrote above, I thought to myself fk it with these portable vapes; I only vape at home anyway--and I got a S&B Plenty desktop that you hold in your hand. But I'm impatient with it now. Takes too long to heat up, and uses too much bud for far lesser results than I'm getting with the MV1, which is definitely the most efficient extraction of vapor I've ever used.
There's a little more work involved with grinding herb medium coarse as they recommend; I prefer to break up bud as little as possible because I understand that the trichomes are all on the exterior and I want to fk with them as little as possible; emptying and filling the ceramic crucibles and replacing lids (both parts have very small holes and need to be soaked periodically in isopropyl and brushed with toothbrush; I wipe mine down with alcohol swabs).
But I am delighted with how high I get off 2 or 3 crucibles-each one holds about 1/10th gm. I get 4 really strong vapes and an intro and an outro vape as well. A much deeper vaping experience that reminds me more of concentrate and tincture highs.
