My right eye ball feels like it spent the night in a bag O glass! I tried sunglasses but can't see small details under the red lights, what do you guys do to protect your eyes? I also have a pair of green safety glasses I'm told do the trick but the jury is still on the fence...

I wear LED glasses...am at work so can't see my brand. They were about 90 bucks and cheaply made but do the trick. A nasty light for the eyeballs indeed.
the glasses allow you to see "relatively" natural light but nothing compares to natural light period. There IS a color switch with the glasses for LEDs in that viewing your pistils under glasses they look brown and curled in..natural light not so...not as brown or red brown. If I can remember I will find the brand when I get homeIndoor- Coco coir & Perlite - 5 gal Smart pots

I use a set of Ski Goggles...wait hear me out.....
I wear glasses anyway so the Ski Goggles fit right over them perfectly.
They drop the light levels within acceptable levels as well as filter out UV, which my LED's do kick out.
I had the Ski Goggles already from a ski trip I went on once, I think I paid £40 for them but can't be sure.
They seal around my face fully letting no light in at the sides and I find it amusing.
My eyes are much happier with the Goggles especially after coming out of the ten than the times I went in the tent without any eye protection.
The Goggles do alter the light though, making it hard to judge colours under the LED's so they aren't as good as the Method 7's which compensate for the light levels and light spectrum making it much easier to judge the plants health.
I should have asked for a pair the the Method 7 clip-on's for Christmas, or another ski trip.

The color under LECs is beautiful! I think that's one of the things that I like about them the most! You can really see the plants to spot problems, and they also help take great natural-looking pictures! But LECs do give off UV rays like the sun, which is great for your plants and THC levels but terrible for your eyes. Luckily any UV-protecting sunglasses should do the trick!
