Mrs Lurking was looking over my shoulder, as I was updating the calendar of due dates. Chasing the Dream 1 is due second week of Sept. She thought I needed to pop the other 3 (to take advantage of the sun, of course 😈)

up potted them tonight. 1.5 gallon, ProMix BX, Gaia Green products. Planted them good and deep. Aparently could not hold the camera steady while taking 3 pictures.of them in their pots

tip of the hat to Humboldt Seeds. 5 for 5 = germanated.

now, it's up to me not to screw it up 😁
over watering is my current concern

yes, they are in hanging pots.
I had a groundhog problem earlier. Trapped 2 and took them for a nice drive. 1 turned itself into paste crossing the road, and havent seen the 4th in 2 weeks

considering topping the girls, this weekend - will depend on sun, mood, them, etc (not in that order)

      a fricking rooster?!?

it literally turned up one day. (I think somebody stopped and dropped it off). We checked the 2 nearby farms, nobody lost a rooster

I have now spent $200 on the GD thing (chicken scratch, a 4×4×18 roofed in run)

Mrs Lurking has been kijijing and facebooking for somebody looking for a rooster. We havent named it yet. It could beçome an expensive guest at Thanksgiving dinner (capon, except I'm not checking for his junk)

Having him around must have been an interesting time. He's lucky he found you before the local predators found him ...the cats and coyotes around my place would have had a poultry snack and left a pile of feathers on my lawn.

        Lol, he was very lucky

Not many cats, coyotes can be heard in the evening- but way far, away, 2 foxes, at least 1 member of the weasel family, but the 2 eagles started circling around more regularly (explains why the ground hogs havent ben as visible)

... and Happy Sunday to all ...

let's see, where to start, where to start
I know - burn one and settle in

      Critter Patrol:
The rooster has been gone for a bit
No new ground hog/skunk sitings (or catchings in the trap - looks like mice are getting fed - or time to switch up the bait and relocate the trap)
Eagle sitings, also less (if I see one, its down closer to the river)
Mrs. Lurking says she started seeing the new critter, maybe 2 weeks ago

I was working in the 'garden' (8 squash and 3 watermelon plants), Mrs Lurking was mowing (riding mower) and pulled up. over Mrs L's shoulder I watched it come out from behind the barn and walk towards us. it got really close, before it started sliding around us. I hope it moves on, else it will be road paste

why is "The Monster Mash"running through my head? (I was working in the lab, late one night....) damn ear worms

they are wet - I just watered them

      CtD-1-A
she started throwing pistils hard, right after I topped her (I suspect if I had investigated more closely, I could have seen them at the topping)

making space at least 2 new girls (1 space is allocated to a clone of the LoJ)
contending for the remaining space, another LoJ clone (that desperately needs a pruning) and a NL clone (she of course has plenty of her own issues - and all are attributed to pebgap). at the moment - I am leaning towards the problematic cNL

... and Happy Monday to all ...

long past due for an update
its me, not you - been allowing my demons far to much control. saw somebody else's post about 'not being in the sharing mood' and its been food for thought (do the uncomfortable)

Been on vacation for the last 2 weeks
and wrapping up our summer (with a GIANT bow) our oldest was home, first time in 13ish years (we saw him 5 or 6 years ago). Mrs Lurking was on cloud 9 - it was beautiful to see

today, is my absolute last day of vacation, back to the grind tomorrow
and, I actually woke refreshed (first time in a long time)

          Now, on with the grow...

          LoJ
          Light of JAH (AMS)
          75% Sativa
          started: 8 September 2018
          Pistils: 6 June
          Day: 344 / Flower: 73
          ETA: 2nd/3rd week August

          HARVESTED: 18 August 2019
a little over 4oz (115 grams) in the jars

nice daytime smoke, not super energetic, paired with morning coffee, it got me moving
still have a couple or 4 grams tucked in a jar at the back of the drying cabinet

          Chasing the Dream (CtD)
          Outdoor
          Pro-Mix BX
Gaia Green Supplements? Fertilizers? Nutrients? (I really should figure out what to call them - LOL)
          Blue Dream Automatic
          Humboldt Seed Organization

These girls were outside until the hurricane
I cut out what felt like a pound of buds from 2 of the 5 (bud rot) - I am sure it was probably only a wet ounce - but EWWW
waited a couple of days, before bringing them into my grow room (not happy about bringing dirt in, especially outdoor dirt)

CtD-1 ended up in the Flower Box (1000w HPS @ 12/12)
          CtD-2 ended up in the Veg tent (450w (200real) LED @ 18/6)

          CtD-1
          Day 85
          started: 28 June
          ETA: 1st/2nd week September

lazy ba$tard that I am, I didn't even boost them into the light zone

B - on the left, A - on the right

          CtD-1-A

for the moment, she is still standing
waiting for her pot to dry out a bit more

          CtD-1-B

          and then, this happened

She has been drying for almost 2 days. not hard buds, but firm.
she was super sticky - did get a nice little ball of finger hash

          CtD-2
          Day 78
          started: 5 July
          ETA: 2nd/3rd week September

they are loving the LED (dialed them right into the flower zone), and the 18/6 (lots of colours, mostly from the blurple)
nothing rock hard yet - they are getting hard

the one in the middle, is approaching the chop date

          middle 3 (flowering) CtD-2
top and bottom right: Trainwreck - just 'up potted' from plain water to veg nutes
top center, top and bottom left: cloned Northern Lights

and finally a shot of the Flower Box

          bottom right:
          clone Northern Lights (Canuk Seeds)
          ETA: 1st week October
          bottom left:
clone Light of JAH (Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds)
ETA: last week October / first week November
          upper middle:
clone Light of JAH (Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds)
          ETA: 3rd / 4th week November

the light in the Flower Box, is on borrowed time (LOL - borrowed from a friend, who is asking about it)
I bit the bullet, and bought a 315w CMH (3100K) in my price range (thank you Amazon.ca)

hoping the girls, don't all crash when I change out the light this week

          don't let your demons win

... and Happy Tuesday to all ...

          some Harvest notes:
          Capture the Dream
          Blue Dream Automatic (HSO)
          5 plants
          Started outdoors, finished indoors
          july = sunny and dry
          august = overcast and humid
          budrot (removed)
2 plants in 3rd week of august
finished plants indoors (their last 3 weeks)
          inbound weather: tailend of hurricane
          2 (CtD-1) plants, under HID
in the footprint, to far away
          3 (CtD-2) plants, under LED
          dialed in for maximum light

          yield: 50 g (1.75 oz)

          I would run them again.
          Indoors, DEFINITELY
          Outdoors, ehhhhhhh
would require an earlier start date
aim to finish late July/early August

          They wanted to produce.
my August just wasn't the right weather for these ladies.
          cNL-1
          clone: Northern Lights (Canuk Seeds)
          yield: 60 g (2.1 oz)

          breeder says:
          mostly indica
          effects: Couch lock, Physical
Lurking would agree, but that smacks of effort
I am finding a little jitteryness (anxiety?) with the overall relaxation and couch lock
going to run the remaining clones longer (more amber trichomes) and see if I can iron that out

fat, mushroom headed, mostly clear, trichomes
          not finding amber

          Her momma generously gave 4oz
I don't think her clones will be that generous (with weight)
