    New grow

I'm starting some new seeds, Northern Lights autoflower. I've read that 100 to 200 on a par meter is good for starting seedlings. I have a Viparspectra 450. At 40" it reads at 190 at center to 140 at the sides with a Hydrofarm quantum par meter. Is that too much?

I've always just used cfls or t5 to start. You probably can raise it enough to start seedlings but it's a serious waste of money and light.

I'm just looking for the best outcome. Tried a 9 watt Feit Electric Led bulb for last start it has a full spectrum range. Seemed for a slow start.

I think most here use cfls and t5s to start. I tried an 80 watt led my very first grow and it did not work as well as 23 watt cfls.

That's 23 actual watts. Not sure what they are rated.
