HELP! Got a problem maybe Nutrient Lock Out

Hey GWE. Got something going on again. Been researching the regular tap water I've been feeding with and been adding Cala-magic the entire time when actually I probably didn't need to. My tap water reads a ppm of 96-100. Now recently I started adding nutes to my feeding after my girls were showing the phosphorus deficiency, that cleared up pretty well after, but my drainage isn't that good either it takes a bit longer than it should to start draining and when it does not much drains. I bought 6 Gallons of RO WATER yesterday and fed with only water last night added no nutes. I loosened the soil the other night and added some vermiculite to help drainage and added a bit more soil to help cover any exposed roots, the bigger roots I could see were good and white no discoloration so I assume this is a good sign. Only had a little FFHF left so I used it not much very little. Now I said all that to ask this, should I flush with the RO WATER and add a light NUTRIENTS to it and remove any build up, this is what I think I should do but I really would like so e more opinions on the matter before I do from one's that no more on the subject. Thanks in advance and happy growing

To me the plant looks great. Only a bit overwatered/ not very good drainage like you said. But nothing too bad. I personally wouldn’t flush after putting new soil. You don’t wanna loose Those expensive nutrients the soil comes with.

If i were you I would keep watering with RO water and calmag until “hunger” signs appear

some of us where discussing the usage of snorkels in soil. Sound like you could benefit from a contraption like that. Imagine something porous or hollow providing air directly to the roots. Like a cylinder with holes in it

for future rounds you should get some perlite. It’s cheap and it works great. In my days of outdoor growing I used to fill the pots at least an inch down the bottom with big rocks. Just to provide a natural air bubble that will suck the water down so you can’t overwater

Thanks 9 I'll look into the snorckel that sounds interesting. Now when I moved my girls to their final pots the 3gal fabrics I did add more perlite and vermiculite to the soil but still having a drainage issue. Next time I will add a couple or 3 medium sized rocks in the bottom of pots to create air bubbles that should do good just don't understand why I'm still having the drainage issues. So no flushing just allow to dry out good before anymore feeding and feed only with the Cal-Mag and Kelp Extract, what about the new nutes I just added to my inventory, Armored SI. Should I start now or wait till I begin with Soil Trio?

I got no idea about the nutes. I only use bitanicare grow bloom and calmag. About the drainage, it is weird that you still have issues with the perlite and fox farms soil. Remember the rocks in the bottom of the pot must not be single rocks covered by dirt. It should be a nice layer of rocks so they create spaces in between that the soil doesn’t fill

To be honest, watering plants in the soft pots is really easy. Fill an empty one with soil (dry). Feel that weight. Once your pot gets closer to that weight with the plants, then you water. You can water sooner but not as much water.

Trimmings426,Man your plants look fine to me , i wouldn't flush either, thats ruff on a plant in soil,
But I would be feeding them, whatever 1part2part3part, nutrients you have,
Yeah you can add silica any time, it's good stuff, but you want to add it first, in most nutrient lines.
Cfls for a week or two
      315lec for everything else
Dug up Ms.topsoil, with perlite added

Ok sounds good D.A.A.S.69, the reason I thought it may have been nutrient lock was the research I was doing on watering with regular tap water and all the dissolved particles it contained includeing calcium and magnesium among the list of others... I thought I may have been giving to much calcium and magnesium useing Cala-Magic. And even read that alot of times when watering with regular tap water it is more common than not to get nutrient lock out. I snipped the bad leaves from both girls a few minutes ago and I'll post the pics on this post and you can see what you think it may be from if you don't mind. Thank all of you for the info and help with this, I realize I freak out alot when shit happens and go straight off the deep end but just want to do good for my girl, and allow them to mature to beautiful ladies with wonderful flowers.

No I'm keeping it between 6.3 and 6.8 I thought that was the correct range for soil growing, pH between 6.0 and 7.0. I don't ever allow it to get above 6.8 though, why should I be keeping it at 6.0? But remember I'v now started feeding useing RO Water includeing putting RO Water in my humidifier, now concerning that with the humidifier do I need to be putting RO Water in rhe humidifier or can I put regular tap water in it? I figured that I should be adding RO Water to the humibifier cause of the pores on bottom of the leaves that open during photocenthesis, thought they might uptake the tap water mist some way and cause the same problems I don't know was only fishing
