    END OF WEEK 6 FLOWER

I've been noticing some deficiency issues over the past few days.

Today's nutrient solution included 2tps of maxi bloom, 1tps kool bloom, 1tps Epson salts, 1tps organic molasses, ph'd to 5.8 (my ph was a little high on run off).
I stopped giving iguana juice at week 4 as I was starting to notice the leaves getting darker from too much nitrogen. So I think the lack of iguana juice was the culprit for some other deficiencies.
I also think I've been under watering, this is my first grow with the ecopot and they tend to dry out quite quickly.

Whenever you do something new in a grow there will always be "growing" pains, ha ha. This grow I have a lot new. The tent (smaller than previous space), ventilation, ecopot, strain and scrog.

Oh well, the tent is 3x3 and the plant is easy 2x2 with decent bud density so we shall see what she puts forth!

34 plants!!! Woo hooo!! I hope the license didn't cost you an arm and a leg.

I'm in week seven 12/12, some of my leaves are looking a lil funky, but I did a lot more defol than you and took off all the large fan leaves. I think at this point in flower, we're inevitably gonna see some leaves showing old age, perhaps a little stress. I got the slightest bit of nute burn on some leaf tips, and they turned really dark green, but I was just reading somewhere that if you can get them dark without nitrogen toxicity and minimal to no nute burn, it will help with larger buds. Let's keep our prayers going out to all the cannabis goddesses!!!

alltatup the licence didn't cost me a cent. I've been a medical patient for a few years and with the legalization in Canada I'm allowed to grow 30 for my prescription and 4 for recreational. It's a good time to be a Canadian pothead

Euroaznscotty I say it's good to be a Canadian anything. Wish I lived there.

Question for you all, can low humidity cause some of the leaf problems that I'm seeing? My tent has been between 15-25% humidity this entire grow

Euroaznscotty, looks like your doing a good job with your new system, to me.
Looks like a little to much Nitrogen ,kinda dark, slight claw. Nitrogen ain't good for big buds,
Also looks like your ph, might be out ,idk
      What was your runoff?
That's a big ole fine plant though, nice job.
To be honest with you, I've never struggled with low humidity, so I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me though.
Although some folks say humidity doesn't matter that much, I think humidity does matter. GoodLuck

D.A.A.S.69 yeah my ph was a bit high at 7, so last watering she was given a solid 6

Good, maybe that will help her out, if not you might have to flush, I hope not though, that is a fine plant, an good luck

So, I did a morning check on the lady and her pH had claimed to 8+!
The watering today was 8L, first 4L of 5.5pH and second 4L of 6pH.
That left we with a run off of 6.7pH. So hopefully that will fix some of the issues that she looks like she is having.

Buds are definitely gaining weight. Here are a couple pics:

So, I messed up a bit and over watered her quite a bit trying to fix the pH issue. This has led to leaves becoming "heavy" with moisture. As the plant has a week left, according to the breeder; there should be enough time for her to bounce back and add extra weight. We shall see.
My first scrog so I'm not too worried. This was a test plant.
Wife got me a power cloner for my birthday, so the clones will be going in soon.

Scotty, I swear we are neck and neck on our grows!!!! Two days ago, I saw so many white pistils, but now they are changing color faster, and I know I'm gonna be in the zone pretty soon. Maybe I'm a few days ahead of you, but man, when the pistils start to change color, it happens really fast!!!

You know that those HUGE buds you see pics of are genetics, right? I'm always gonna go for quality over quantity, and the breeder often comments in the description that yields are moderate. That never stops me from getting a strain I really want.

alltatup Ha ha, I've notice that! I think I vegged a week less than you, hence your slightly longer flower. That is one thing I'm concerned about with this strain. There have been a lot of comments on the breeders page about the pistils never actually truly "changing" colors. So I'm sure glad I just picked up a digital 50-500x microscope that I can plug into my phone. Ill have to be checking those trichs everyday vs going off pistils then trichs.

Part of my issue this grow was I couldn't get the light penetration I wanted because, as soon as soon as I raised the plant up; the temp increased to 90f at the canopy. So I need to increase the ventilation, or vent outside. The tent is in my furnace room so it stays fairly warm year round.

Euroaznscotty I looked up your Canuk seeds and sho nuff they are described as Sativa. The one Sativa I grew had pistils that never changed color, so I did what you did, looking at trichomes all the time. That was my third grow--an 18 week flower Sativa. Insane.

You could try interior defoliation sometime if you felt comfortable with it, which will allow for much greater light penetration. On this grow, I very carefully defoliated according to Nebula's directions, removing fan leaves blocking bud sites. When the plants went into flower, lots of strong-growing side branches shot up from the main colas, with nice buds at the top, and they made it into the light: colas are like survival of the fittest!!! I realize now that I defoliated in such a way to really allow a lot more light penetration.

Here's the thing: my plants were quite vigorous in growth all the way through: we have gotten along very well. I've had no kind of problem whatsoever. So I'd defoliate, and tons of leaves would grow back; they were growing vigorously--not half assed.

My buds aren't huge or nothin, but they are stunning, and each day I can see how they have increased, thrown out new calyxes that in turn throw out new pistils--but that's almost over, I believe, and pistils are shriveling, twisting and turning colors. I love to sit with them every day and look at the pistils and the triches, and just smell their perfume.
