    4 week flowering update

    tent is almost 3 x 3

big sativa bent tonight as you can see lightly cropped not flowering yet but any day now.

With some issues here and there things look pretty darn good. No screen just some topping at various nodes. Some lower lollypopping and mainly trained lower growth for extra colas. I'm thinking it's successful so far. I'm 4 weeks out. Won't be taking real photos till they get a lot closer. The buds are getting really nice. Hard to see size but healthy and flourishing

    critique? Thoughts comments or suggestions?

thanks. Patience is really big right now. I know some will be earlier than others meaning shuffling those pots around will be a challenge. Oh well haha

They look gorgeous, and developing very nicely! The buds look so pretty under the LEDs! They're a good size for 4 weeks!

Sativas can be hard to get into flowering. They can't get any light leaks during their dark period! If it doesn't start making flowers after being on a 12/12 schedule for a few weeks, you might consider switching to a 11/13 schedule (11 hours light, 13 hours darkness) to force it into flowering. Longer nights get plants to develop faster in the flowering stage, and sometimes Sativa plants (which originated around the equator) need an extra push. You might be able to go back to 12/12 once it actually gets going, so your other plants don't get sped up, too. Or you could finish them all on 11/13! Anyways, just an idea if that Sativa is stubborn and refuses to make flowers on a regular 12/12 schedule

In any case, your plants look impressive! Beautiful training!

Nice elbows. Supercropping is definitely not for the feint of heart. Have the duct tape ready before trying...lol

Given that sativas and indicas grow differently, is it wise to not mix the two in same grow? Just thinking it may make it easier for grower like me.

I have a bunch more seeds coming too. Once they come I need to sit down and sort my seeds by type and also by estimated height. Try to keep things consistent and simple in the grow tent.

It can be challenging. Unless you're growing a pure (or close to pure) indica or sativa, it is definitely doable. I have that lemon headband in my grow right now that I had to top twice as much as the others to keep her from stretching too much.

Even if you have variable heights you can always put a shorter plant on a milk crate or something else to maintain your canopy.

I think you're certainly up for the challenge Insomniac.

Recovery within 10 hours. Didn't tie just crushed and bent. That should give some weight to the tops a little They look good this morning just the main cola was still bent over and had some stress at the bend so i precaution taped her. These plants are hearty.

All tops are repointint up. Some still with bends

Awesome!!! do you adjust your light often? As far as up and down away from the plants?

Bent some more. Things looking good in the flower area. Scared about how big the golden tiger gets unless I keep those tops cropped
