    Light dep.

So I am doing light dep in Washington state. The west side. My question is if my plants are 6 weeks into flowering and the days are short enough that plants not in dep are beginning to flower. Can I stop the dep and let the plants have a bit more light at the end?? I will also note that the whole crop has been pollinated.

Welcome. What's dep? If they're outside, this time of year I'd just let nature take its course. For your next grow, study up on the info and growing tips on this site. You won't be sorry.

In w. Oregon here. No experience with outdoor light deprivation but from all my reading it sounds like cannabis starts to flower around 14 hrs. Right now we still have 15 hrs of daylight (~6am-9pm) which could freak out your plants. We'll reach 12/12 at Fall equinox (Sept 20-21). If I had plants 6 weeks into flower already I wouldn't dare change anything. Why take the risk? Keep doing the light dep. and those plants will be done before the rain returns which might save you from getting white powdery mildew (VERY common in the Pac NW). I lost my only attempt at outdoor grow here to WPM 2 years ago. I'll never try that again unless it's something that will finish before mid-Sept. Nothing grows faster in the Pac NW than mildew!

Fuck I’m in NM so it’s dry as a bone here I forgot that Washington is super humid, this is a very valid concern
