Exhaust fan recs, and humidity is a BIT high...

Entering Week 3 of flower (I can get some pics tomorrow during lights-on) and my humidity is a bit nuts. 70% right now with the tent closed O_o (yes, I should give her a haircut which will help) My "exhaust" fan is a silly little USB clip fan ziptied to the tent ceiling crossbars, don't know if it's doing a hell of a lot. The top port on my tent is covered with an AC carbon filter cut to fit...I can't tell if the fan is actually moving any air out as my air conditioner is also right at that level. I jury-rigged this earlier today before lights-out, I'll have more time later this week to rework it in detail.

I do have a can-fan but not only does it not fit (the ports aren't quite standard size...dammit) it's WAY too loud. Does anyone have a better idea?

(go figure, we just got rid of some old clay kitty litter and then I realize I can use that for humidity control)
****tent (2x4) and large light (Relassy 300W LED) is in storage for now until I can solve some household electrical issues****

CoM Stonington Blend soil, distilled water; Liquid Squid amendment if needed, molasses for flowering

Get a large dehumidifier (like 50 pint): you don't want mold!! I found it was the only way to control the humidity in my grow room, so I place it in the door with the warm air blowing into the hallway. When the humidity is 70% in my house, I empty the reservoir twice every 24 hours!!!

To determine if your fan is moving air is simple. Light an incense stick and place it by the bottom opening port of your tent then turn on your fan and see if it is even drawing the smoke into the tent. If it's not, it's certainly not powerful enough to move sufficient amount of air through your filter.

I always get the biggest exaust I can afford and that will fit but always get a variable speed one but the exaust is cheap vs the carbon filters over time. But yeah a dehumidifier seems to be a must have in certain parts of the world.

thats the way, variable speed controller has many benefits. Getting the biggest as redwasp suggests is great advice.

Duct fan from hardware store 30 dollars 6in 300 cfm it will suck the sides of tent, in a 30x30x70. Definitely draws air through.
