    Can anybody spot the issue?

The plant is a month a 2 weeks old. Grows everyday there's signs of it starting to flower. It's an auto. Woke up today to the top leaf tips being slightly bent down. Not sure if my fan is causing the problem or if my light is to close. Room temp is 78 the hottest it's gotten was 89. Also found a couple messed up leaves connected to bud sites at the bottom. Any thoughts?

Tutorial on light distance can be found here. https://www.growweedeasy.com/how-far-grow-lights

Are you doing the first knuckle check before watering? Possibly if over watering causing the "claw".

I do use that method. I'm watering every 3 days. The ph runoff is 6.4. I did some research and the bottom leaves look like a Phosphorus Deficiency. Not sure because my ph is in the right range.

Looks like there cooken to me,to much heat - to close to the light? Not enough airflow? Pick your poison

I believe that the leaves that are folding to the shape of a canoe, are trying to avoid getting too much light/heat. If this is the case, the top cola will probably stop growing at some point.

Lower leaf damage is probably as you expect, but plant is certainly not l malnourished IMO.

what I have learned so far:
    environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

I went ahead and bent the top of the plant down hoping that will do something. If the plant is not malnourished why would it show signs of a deficiency? Should I change the nutes in my water? Is the problem fixable?

First thing to recognize is that you do not have a big problem. Yes, it can be fixed as soon as you can identify the root cause.

Plants can 'not take up' minerals for a multitude of reasons, and not having enough food is just one of them. I do not think it is time to make nutrient changes (increase) at this point. You plant is starting to flower so both Phosphorous and Potassium requirements are getting higher. Instead of increasing the amount of food, I would check to see if your nutrient company recommends a slightly different formula for flowering plants that increases the percentage of P and K while reducing the concentration of nitrogen. (too much nitrogen will produce very dark green leaves with tips that 'claw' down).

I think that getting some distance from the light (I am assuming that you have done all you can) is one step, and if you can get the temperature into the 70's that would eliminate another possible problem.

With the plant looking to be generally in good shape, I am thinking that environment is the most likely issue. That being said, PH is always a concern and PPM of your runoff water counts too.

There may not be a 'pat' answer to your problem, but you are on it early, and don't quit asking questions until it is fixed.

Thanks for the info Flockshot. I did look at my nutes chart it said to drop the cal mag to half a tsp in week 4. I have been giving them the amount will fix that and see what happens. As for the light it's 8inches always that's the best I can do. Hoping it won't mess the plant up to bad.

Porch, you're going to want to keep the temps lower for flowering. Now I've never grown autos, but I assume that this is true for them as well as photos.

Folks, am I correct or not?
