I have never attempted pollination. I've always chucked the males or only utilized feminized seeds. Now that I've found a few strains that I want to always have available, it seems a little silly to keep buying those seeds. I've read what's available on GWE. But how do you determine when to collect the pollen? I assume too soon may not allow enough time for the pollen to form, and waiting too late may allow unwanted pollination. Is there a good "rule of thumb" to follow for timing collection? Thanks in advance!

Timing for Pollen Collection

When the pollen sacs are ready, the leaf section protecting the pollen will start to crack. At this point it's time to collect the feminized pollen. One of the easiest ways to do this is to collect the pollen sacs directly and let them dry for a week. At that point they can be placed in a bag and shaken to easily collect all the pollenhttps://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum...-she-s-a-beast
