How long do you guys usually flush for before your harvest? Have always wondered if flushing for 2 weeks is a good idea even though alot of strains pick up alot of weight the last 2 weeks. Would nutrients during this time help them add more weight? Just wondering.

I always go by trichs and not necessarily weight. If they look ready to come down I don't worry about them fattening. With soil there are salt and metal deposits from animal byproducts and nutrients. The idea of flushing is to release that bond from the plant with a flushing agent and letting it take in plain water to flush those residues out. Some people just take them down without flushing but I definitely notice a difference in smoothness and the ash produced from burning. But if they're ready... they're ready and I wouldn't wait nor worry about weight. The leaves have everything they need to produce your final yields.https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum...-she-s-a-beast

Yes i always go by trichomes to determine when to cut. I have always watched them and started flushing when it was almost ready and cut when its ready.
Just always hear that most consider approx 2 weeks away to be the ideal time to start flushing. Last time i was off due to the temps dropping due to heater failure. So ended up that i started like 4 weeks early. Lol It honestly ended up the best smoke I have had in a very long time. Not sure if it was the low temps, long flush, extra time or what. But was by far the best.

I flush with Florakleen 6ml/Gal in Coco/Perlite
For the final flush, I hit them with 4x the normal quantity of inflow on the initial flush treatment. I then continue with normal quantities for an additional 4 irrigations with florakleen. This takes me only 2.5 days in Coco. I am willing to harvest at that point, but prefer to follow with two more days of plain water if I am not desperate to get them upside down. So 4.5 days is my maximum flush duration.
I have a gallon of flush water sitting outside my tent ready to start the process with the Power Africa tonight, in 30 minutes

The last week or two, I just molasses and water and don't worry about flushing, although I've flushed them numerous times before, when I've used chemicals, and flushing sure helps them, bigly. As for taste.
