    Help with my seedlings

So I germinated 3 seeds in water about 5 days ago left them in for 24 hours and switched to the paper towel for another 24, only one of them had a tail sticking out the other 2 didn’t but I planted them all in anyway using plant magic plus soil, I also watered them slightly. I then got worried that only 1 was going to sprout so I planted 3 more seeds straight in the soil (no paper towel or cup of water )watered them aswell. All 6 are sat in my grow tent at 25degrees celcius 77f at 65% humidity. They have been in there for about 72 hours now and no sprouts from any of them, the soil is dry now and I do not know weather to water them or not?? I also have 1 fan going and 1 30watt CFL 6400k going. Should I water them? Should I turn my 55w 2700k on? Should I turn the 30watt off? I am worried none will sprout and need to know what I can do to help them??

Hi rizcuny, Keep them moist, and a little more warmth wouldn't hurt them. Some folks germinate seeds on top of the fridge cuz it's warm.

Give them time. I germinate my seeds in a grem. tray on a seedling mat so that they get a bit more direct warmth, and most germinate right away, but some seeds always take longer than others.

I've only ever planted one ungerminated seed & it took well over a week (maybe 10 or 12 days...i don't remember) to sprout. Since then, i always wait for the tap root to appear. Just be patient & keep the soil around the seeds moist. That's what I would do, anyway. Somebody here will have better advice, I'm sure.

Just watered them with warmish water, one of the seed was like half a cm down and I saw it half cracked open just put more soil on it. Really not looking to great but will keep updated on the 3 I germinated

Spray with PHed water twice a day and put under humidity dome and keep warm. 😎

Added cling film, is almost touching the soil but is increased the humidity to about 70 and rising

She looks like she is on her way, When we talk about 1-5 day old seedlings, You have to think tiny!! Tap root may be 2 in., fine hair roots so thin you can just see them. So it don't take much water to keep them moist but not drowning. I mist the soil every morning and evening till the first true leaves are about 1 in. long. By then the tap roots about 6 in. long, deep in the soil, so surface can then dry more between waterings.......Works for me. I only grow in soil, on patio, never transplanting .

That’s only 1 of 6 that have worked though, she’s opened up a lot actually over the day I’ve got the light closer 1 30watt 1 55w temp at 80 ...55 humidity should she live ? By misting the soil do you mean with a spray bottle? Thanks

I have just had my second sprout!! I have got 2 lights on now and the temp has now increased to 91degrees!! Is that too hot? I have got a co2 bag in and a fan. Also I find that when the temp is higher the humidity drops for example right now it’s at 45% and when I have one CFL on at 80degrees the humidity is more like 65.. I am very confused what are the best conditions for this now I have 2 sprouts, I have only got 2 lights on any way which is only 5000 lumens ! I plan to add another 12,000 lumens of 2700k when my 2 plants are up and running and I need to keep the temp down and humidity higher. Any help is appreciated
