    Seed germination

Here is my seed germination 1 gallon fish tank with small 1-5 gallon heater with plastic sandwich container with 4 squares cut out in sponge. The heat makes The temp around 78 and the sponge allows lots of air flow. The seeds are in wet sponge kept warm and wet by warmer water. Within 24 all seeds pop white root. Within 48 most sane people will plant. Paper towel works great. This seems most 100 -% accurate and workable. Just wanted to share

Why not go ahead be critical if you want.

ive also done paper towel in dark place. Seems to not matter much but actually being that we are heating the seeds in soil may as well try and Mimic the heat in germ as well Probably like rooters but diy?

also 3 of 5 are sprouted before 24 hours. Waiting till tomorrow to inspect again

Just a suggestion but they make those humidity domes that are shaped to hold the rooter plugs in the bottom and have a clear plastic top. You can even get a little heating pad for them if u want. I don't really like the pad but they make em. You can the the moisture condensate on the inside of the clear plastic. I think the whole set up is like 15 bucks. I use it and am happy with the results. Just a suggestion. it looks like u went pretty elaborate with that set up. keep posting with the results if u don't mind I wanna see how it works for ya :-)

Not my ORIGINAL idea- but modified to suit my needs - in fact a water bath in a warm room does the trick- or perhaps even whatever room temp you have. The heater for me gives the sponges heat- but separated by plastic container- the bottom of plastic container gets water- this morning it was flooded- (who cares - no difference than dropping a seed in a glass of water for 24 hrs) sponges allow air flow between eachother - the sponge sandwich makes em all nice and warm and pretty great results.
