    Is This Extreme Deveg?

I'd say yes but it looks good to me. I've just done something similar with my GDP grow.

The grow has had so many issues with lights breaking and I had to leave them for a couple of weeks due to unexpected hospitalisation disrupting my intended training methods right at the flowering stretch. So when I finally got back home I just went hell for leather and trimmed them exactly as you have done to yours.

That was about 1.5 weeks ago and they seem to be doing alright. At least the humidity has dropped to manageable levels now that 90% of the fan leaves are gone.

That's pretty close to how I defoliate but it's not all at once. I try to pluck as I go until harvest. They usually stop growing leaves around week 6. Gotta keep the budsites glowing

I did a bit at a time since i was nervous. I started late and went way to light. By the end of the "stretch" i was all bush and leg with a few less sites than i wanted. So this was the result. I'm hopping for a bit more stretch in week four and five

Was this a deliberate defoliation? Your plants look like what I end up with around week 4 or 5 in the flower room, and it's not deliberate. I defoliate before moving from veg to flower on the lower and inside leaves. But with the transition to flower, the leaves start to turn yellow with brown spots, and will fall off - though once they reach a point, I'll remove them. I have not been able to figure out why I loose so many leaves but I still get a decent harvest.
I like big buds and I can not lie.

Thanks Green. This has been great learning. And yes this was an intentional pruning.
