    Lighting

I'm starting a new grow I'm planting candy kush and blue cheese. I only have a 600 wait hp light wondering what' the best light for vegg? Is this light ok to start and finish a season or do I need something else? Appreciate the help

Sodium discharge naturally does not have enough blue for healthy morphology during vegetation. Though thats not to say you cant use it for the entire grow. Many do. But best results are recieved with lights with sufficient levels of blue.

Metal halide is commonly used during vegetation but LED is becoming a good replacement choice for vegetation.

Have a look at my "using light efficiently" article. It may provide helpful information.

Yes it is perfectly fine. If you read Nebula tutorial she grows with hps from start to finish.. I also grow hps from start to finish.. haven’t really noticed any difference I’ve used both before (1time). Only thing I’ve heard is that with hps it stretches and mh makes for a short bushy plant.. Go ahead definitely can be done
