SOIL !!help!! Over or under watered?!?!

Just watered yesterday and this happened from morning to night just going limp and me second plant looks like it’s doing the same! Should I put them out in the sun and fresh air to try and acclimate the soil and plant? Or just leave it be and change the watering schedule?!?

Help! They are wilting fast! 🤬🤬🤬

Do you by chance have a soil moisture meter to test how moist it is by the roots?

No but I poked my finger down and it’s damp plus when I lift the fabric pot it’s damp under the pot to. Damp not wet

Morning 807, what I'd do if they were mine, if they are in fabric pots, is set the pots on some grates where they can get air from the bottom, an punch a bunch of nail holes in the sides and the bottom of the pots, and get a fan blowing on them.
And don't water them again until your pots are real lite wt. Good Luck with them, but they sure don't like getting overwatered, they should be fine in no time.

Dug up Ms.topsoil, with perlite added

I would get bigger trays for your pots. They look the same size, hence migh hold water at the bottom.

            Okay so update

i took your your advice and bought some risers to allow the bottom of the pot to breathe plus it makes the small trays I have work perfectly now!

they are still drooping even worse..
at this point the soil feels slightly damp and the top 1 1/2” are dry

still can’t figure out if this is under or over watering. 🤯🤯

Evening 807, if your pots are still heavy ,I'd say your are overwatering or watering to often.
Get a fan to blow on your pot, and let them dry out, and don't water again ,until your pot is lite weight.
Does your pot drain good out the bottom? ?

                Update I figured it out!

so I just watered them with RO ph to 6.4 no nutrients about a half hour ago and ..... under watering and bottom of the pots can’t drain or breathe!
so the new risers are what resolved the issue!!

Just a matter of 30 minutes after watering! Boom!

Everyone I know uses risers, that wasn't your problem, you said the bottom of your pots were damp, how could that be underwatered. Sounds like now, that they were never watered to run-off properly.
What I'd do now is pick up your pot and see how heavy it is, and don't water them again till your pots are lite weight.
Sure glad you fixed the problem though. I'd rather under water mine than overwater them, but everyone is different.
If you watch them real good, you can tell when they are getting close to need water, the leaves will be looking great, and standing up, I can go pick up my pots and they are as lite as feathers, but in an hour's time they will start wilting. You want to water them before that, but a little wilting ain't gonna hurt nothin, if you catch it in time.

                  Good Luck with them.
My bad I read wrong ,I thought you said the risers caused the problem, sorry about that.
I bet you feel much better now that it's fixed.
                  Good Luck with them.807
