Cal-Mag yes or no ? Never use it !!

Question for you dear grower, I never used Cal-Mag before. So my question is : Should I use Cal-Mag during my entire grow, if so when .... during the early stage ?

Calmag is a great supplement for soil coco and hydro. Question is what medium are you using? Coco should bee buffered with calmag. What nute line up are you using? You can always go by that feed chart to know when to start using it in soil or and hydro which is typically pretty early.

Hey Farmbuck, I sure loved your Hashplant, she was fine looking. If you use tap water, I wouldn't think it would be necessary, but it sure ain't gone hurt nothin.

I start using it around the beginning of flower. I use Fox Farm Ocean forest soil. Sometimes other soils.

If you have soft water, you'll probably need it. If you have hard water, you might have enough mineral content to get by without it.
The symptoms of deficiencies of both are pretty easy to spot (as in brown spots ), so you'll know pretty quickly if you need to supplement.

Ok thanks for your comments, I'm using tap water and my medium is organic soil. I never use nutrients until the girls are 3 weeks old. The only nutrients I used in my last grow were Alaskan fish fertilizer and molasses for veg and fox farm tiger bloom during flowering. My PH is between 6.2 -6.7.
