Hi everyone I did a search on Google but nothing came up. So I am here, I was wondering if my ducting that's connected to my extraction fan can just sit on top of the tent or does the hot air have to be out the window?

Mine sits on top of my tent and sends a jet stream of air across the ceiling of my room. The problem with doing this is that the heat and humidity stay around and may be pulled back into the tent depending on where you draw air from. If high heat and humidity are issues then you should vent outside or at least out of the room.

I have a dehumidifier and can have 2 big rectangle like Windows open. I have no intake fan and currently trying to figure out what to do without one, I have 2 small rectangle windows at the bottom but I do not think these are intake hole I was thinking of just leaving 2 vent holes open possibly 3 could this work? The only problem I can think of is light leakage would that be a problem?

I have 2x2x4 tend and I bent to my attic. I have a pasive intake. I just open one rectangular window at the bottom and fresh cold air is pulled through that. I dont have any mold issues as my RH is controlled pretty well. I have a really small space so I cannot bent to the same room. You should be fine if your room where the tent is is big enough. Just read a little and I have photo-period seeds. The rectangle windows are shut for the 12 hours of darkness otherwise this comprises the flowering, does this mean I can have the rectangles open for the 12 hours of lights on and if so what should I do for the 12 hours of darkness? Thanks for the help campesinos.
Edit:I was thinking I have around 6 different holes for intake and extraction what if I put ducting though one hole and leave it and another bit of ducting though another could this be classed as a passive intake?

Anytime bro. Im still learning as well. This is my forst grow on my own. For my 2x2 tent I use a 2 gallon smart pot. I grow sativa strains so I do Scrog and toppimg to keep the plant short. I paid $49 for the tent in amazon. Its from Cool Grows. Build quality is great. I dont share my grow hobbie with any of my friends or family members. Only my wife knows about it. Stealth os the way to go. Cheers! ✌Current Grow
