    Brown crispy leaves

Hi, I am a first time grower, I was given some plants that is off a mother plant, they are in the veg stage, only 2, I'm growing with led grow lights in an understands cupboard.
I am using black magic soil & just watering them because it says it has all nutrients needed. The leaves started going brown then carried on & gone crispy, the little tiny shoots on the branches have curled right round.
I've read your pages but if all the nutrient are in the soil, I don't know what to do if they are getting to many nutrients.
    Please help

    Hi Lesteradger
The curl right up along with crispy leaves sounds like the LED's are too close. LED's need to be put further away than normal lights as you cant use the hand heat test with them.
I would try moving you LED's at least 30cm away from the plants for a bit, and see how they respond. Make sure the humidity inst too low either, might be worth misting the area with a spray bottle whilst they recover.

This is also know as Canoeing Leaf's. Most common issue is head stress which I already experience when I had my LED about 14 inches above my plant. I moved the light further up and the plant recovered nicely. Low humidity can also cause this. Good Luck!
