    Will my Seeds Sprout?

I know this is a vague question, but what I'm really asking is, do my seeds still have a chance?

I was germinating them in the paper towel method (3 PM) when after about 10 hours I realized the water made the paper towel too cold. So then I put them in a warmer spot and went to sleep (1 AM). Woke up at around 10 AM and no tap roots were showing but the paper towel was dried out, which I know is a bad thing. After that, I just put them in a room temperature glass with water, and tapped them to see if they would sink, which they didn't. Went out, came back at around noon and tapped them and they all sank, still no tap roots. So I put them in their starter cubes where they've been ever since, and it's now 5:30 PM.

I was just hoping I didn't drown the seeds or kill them when the paper towel dried out, or if I put them in the starter cubes at the wrong time.

EDIT: Grow room is 80 degrees and humidity is 40%

Yeah I planned on waiting because I know it takes a lot longer to sprout, I just didn't know if I ruined my seeds or not

Just give them a chance. I do the same thing, wet paper towel, but I put the paper towel in a shallow bowl. I cover the seeds, then put water till the towel is slightly over-saturated. I cover the bowl with a paper plate then let it sit on top of my PS4 (which is on all the time) so it's slightly warm. Usually after a day or two they start doing their thing.

I have had the paper towle dry out before, most of the seeds still popped.

I put my paper towle in a zip lock bag. and wait for lil tails to poke out. so I know it's a viable seed and keep towle for drying.

I doubt the dry paper towel would have killed seeds, since they start out dry anyway. overwatering/ too moist is what usually kills seeds, they get moldy or the brand new root rots.
