    help with SCROG

hi people, can anyone tell me, when doing a scrog in the vegative stage and weaving/ tucking through the net as it grows, is it best to cable tie the branches to the net as i weave them in and out of the net,,??
i have 2 inch squares in my net,,,, any advice would be a real help....

I use a combination of tucking and zip ties. 2 inch squares seems a little small so ties may be easier (I find 4" squares to work best for me).
I like big buds and I can not lie.

I start tucking in veg and by the time I flip to flower, I start with ties. Mostly because the plants are more pliable and forgiving in veg but more sensitive in flower. There are different ways to do scrogs - I think there's a tutorial on GWE that covers the right way and the wrong way to do a scrog.

Have you read the SCROG tutorial here? I found it really useful.

For my first scrog (about 5 weeks to go...) I have used tucking and extra-long pipe cleaners to secure stalks both to the screen and more often to the frame or the pot. Zip ties are too expensive and too permanent for me since I'm always moving things around, even now as I enter mid bloom. My squares are about 2.5 or 3". 2 does seem too small.
