Harvest when soil is moist or dry?

Hello everyone.I will be harvesting my CBD Critical Cure plant within the next week. I was wondering if the soil should be dry when I harvest, or is it better for the soil to be moist? Does anyone know if it makes a difference?

my opinion is dry even if you haven't flushed...also depends on your environment-if it is humid-definitely dry. Eager to hear others input on this.
    happy harvesting!!

I like to have my plants dry when I harvest. Dry plant cuts down on the drying time as oppose to when you just watered it and the plant has sucked up all that water.

Better when medium is dry but if your space to dry in is optimum wster the day b4 so when u chop the plant drys slow so as to not lock in that green flavor reminiscent to hay or cut grass. My 2cents

It seems unanimous, I will let the soil dry first. Thank you all very much.

I'd say dry as well, it definitely makes sense that it would cut down on they drying/curing time!

I found that proper curing will get rid of that green taste.

If the soil is wet, it will take your buds longer to dry. That can be a good or bad thing, depending on what you're looking for. You want buds to dry slowly for the first few days, as that's key to getting the best results from the curing process. So if it's very dry where you live, it's probably a good idea to harvest when the plant has as much moisture inside as possible to help the buds dry more slowly. On the flip side if it's very humid where you live, you might want to start drying out the plant before harvest to help the whole drying process go faster and avoid the chance of mold.
