Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone has used LED lights in veg then transferred over to HPS for flowering? If so...does it work well or should I continue to use my CFLs for my veg stage? It seems like it's taking forever to get the size I would like before flowering. I'm currently using 400w's of CFLs and 750w's of hps. And the move would be to 600w LED panel along with 4x250w side panels for veg

I know it's not in the title, but if your hps is convertible to NH for veg, that would do very nicely and use the led to flower. Or you could run the LEDs for veg and how for flower. Both combos work nicely. Amazon has been running a lot of specials on LEDs over the weekend and I picked up 2 "300w" panels for $40 a piece. I just retired all but one of my hid setups.

I use Led in the veg stage. I bought t2o very expensive COB LEDS, used one for flower, plant looked great! but when i squeezed it to check the density, i could touch my fingers together! not good. So i found not the right spectrum for flower, but it does great for Veg, my plants love it, and are very happy!

No exp with hps but Led is still all about the brand. My Viparspectras are good(dense nugs) but my Cirrus is way better(Way tighter nugs)! Same output according to manufacturers but different tech used ... and different prices!
i use them both from seed to chop, full spectrum all the way.x1 LED Cirrus T5 500w, x3 Sun System LEC315, x1 Nanolux LEC315, Saturn 5 controller, x4 6" can vents, 8800 btu A/C, 70 pint dehumidifier
