Great price for that light. I paid $120 in September.

That is a good price. I'm guessing it's a clearance before introducing a new model. That and possibly increased competition in entry-level lights?

I can't say that I care for all of that red/infrared in the mix in that unit, not being convinced that the energy (and $) couldn't be better used in shorter wavelength red and the blue, but maybe Emerson effect form longer wavelength red is worth it? (I really don't know. Maybe they're got the spectrum balanced perfectly.)

Lighting technology is changing so fast that I'm staying on the sidelines for now and using my old setup, waiting for the dust to clear... It looks like just as with every other semiconductor technology, the price of LEDs is falling as the technology advances at an amazing pace.

My first grow was exclusively with this light. I thought it did a great job for a 2.5x2.5 area, two plants. Think I paid $79.99. I think they originally had too much blue but the newer lights there selling have more red so there a much more balanced light. Great entry level light.for the money.

I love am I use them to grow autos i get an average of 4 oz per plant in 10 weeks from 1 light
