    Armour si works
    have an aquarium heater in my res and for some reason the thermostat didn’t kick out res temps went to about 80 Celsius!!!!!!plants didn’t even show any signs of stress!!!
    cooled res down with ice packs back to normal.im thanking armour si

      That's great and I'm glad your plants survived, but how do you know that the extra silicon was what saved them?

          you need some sort of backup thermostat controller, put the sensor in the water, if the thermostat in the heater fails the second controller will cut power to the heater.

            Again, I'm glad your plants survived, and I'm happy that you're happy with silicon supplements, but I still don't see grounds for saying categorically "It works" without something to compare it to. Sorry if that sounds fussy.
