need advice scrogging autos in 3 x 3 tent

I've been looking at vids and reading about scrogging autos and still have a bunch of questions.

1, I'm not sure if the lifespan of an auto allows for the massive spread into a scrog. I've seen a lot of single photo plant scrogs spread out over and entire 4 x 4, multiple plants filling out a larger scrog Cindy Nightshade 's grow is a fine example of this. But can an auto have enough growth to fill in a scrog?

    2. how many autos in a 3 x 3 tent with a scrog. Originally I was thinking 4 but that seems too many to be now. 2? 3? I guess it depends on strain, speed of growth, expected plant mass....

    3. size of pots.. I'm growing 4 photos in 5 gallon pots now and that seems to be the max for my 3 x 3. some folks here use 3 gallon pots for autos....

so....2 or 3 3 gallon autos under a scrog in a 3 x 3 will give me a full 9 sq feet of buds, if done well?

I'd love to hear from the scroggers

    thanks

I grow 2 autos in a 2x4 and I scrog photos in another tent I do not see a need to scrog autos as they are amazing little plants that realy require very little training. A top a little lst the first few weeks and boom 3 to 4 oz in 8 to 10 weeks per plant. But that's just how i grow if u do try a scrog on autos i would be real intrested in seeing how that goes.
      It's 4:19 u got a minute?

You can do pretty much anything with autos that you can do with regulars. The difference is that autos need to be growing good to make it work, where regulars can have some problems and you can fix those before moving on.

After you read this article you will know more than most about autos:

What are auto-flowering strains and what should you expect when you grow one? Learn what you need to know and get the pros and cons of auto-flowering vs photoperiod strains, and get grow tips and secrets to getting better yields/potency!

what I have learned so far:
        environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

thanks for the input. Auto-growers network has a good deal of posts about it. quite a few folks doing it, it's just unclear if it's worth it. I'll keep a journal if I decide to do it. Otherwise Imma top and lst, maybe manifold one

Of course you can scrog autos.. When stretch is over put in the net and start spreading out the stalks.. Works great I've seen..

cool, seeing how this would happen after stretch, the overall size of the scrog would be a lot smaller than a photo scrog. 2 plants then, is my 3 x 3?

then, would I still get additional cola shoots in the scrog after stretch?

I also have 3x3x6 tent and have 4 autos in 5 gallon plots and 1 in a two gallon pot.. no less than four I'd say got your scrog..

You can add net early but will have to raise it due to plant growing taller... Only tops are supposed to be out of net.. Spread them wide
