With everything else being equal, what light

With absolutely everything else being equal, what light will yield the most weight per watt out of the wall.

I may get less weight than you do per watt, but we should both perform stronger or weaker depending on our choice of light.

So what is your choice of light that gets you the most harvest weight per "watt out of the wall"?

what I have learned so far:
    environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

This question is asked a lot and as a result i am intending on doing a article on such as subject. Usually i elaborate extensively on such a subject but because i have spent so much time on it and intend to do more so soon, i am feeling lazy. Perhaps look at some of my articles on light. There is a plethora of data that shows the performance capability of light technologies.

For short, gas discharge is best. When i say gas discharge i mean high pressure sodium, using satisfactory hoods and high quality bulbs. Cheaping out on hoods and bulbs can drastically reduce the efficiency of the system. Double ended are the best. CMH i have done extensive research on, as it stands the data shows they are at best on par with 600w SE HPS. There is no data that suggests otherwise, this will of big topic in my article. LED lights have the ability to outperform any light technology, but because of the cost factor, to reach such efficiency's ends up being pricey. So most LED's, despite their claims, end up being inferior to gas discharge. Only a handfull of products on the market at the moment can compare or superseed HPS. But at a cost.

I would highly recommend waiting for my writeup on the subject, although it will be a few weeks before i attack it as i have only just finished my previous one. It takes a lot out of me.

Any questions feel free, this is my topic of interest.

As a non commercial hobby grower, I expect a light that is "on par" with my 600w HPS, should come in at a price (purchasing and operating) that is "on par'. What is your definition of "on par"?

        Efficiency.

I look forward to your article, but other than people trying to sell something, it turns out to be less weight for less watts. Hopefully you will be able to teach me something and I will be better off for it.

I'm not sure what you mean.

Double ended is more efficient than single ended high pressure sodium.

Then mine would be single ended

600W HPS is the gold standard.

Yeah, I'd say the 600watt hps-mh. As best all around with a good lamp-bulb.
