I've been reading up on the various thoughts on flushing during veg when growing in Coco. I think these are the 3 main schools of thought
1. some don't and stay low on the nutes, around 1/2 strength the whole grow, watering to runoff every time to wash out the old
2. some start at 1/2 strength and build up to full or below and flush every third watering
3. some flush every time with clean water first to runoff water then feed with 1/2 to full strength nutes till runoff
I have healthy plants for now but I haven't done a flush or watered to excessive runoff. I've been using 1/2 strength, only twice. I'm in Coco in 5 gallon pots @ beginning of week 6 from sprout
Should I be thinking of flushing next watering? if so, which method is recommended. AND, how do I avoid over-watering if I'm getting runoff?
will the same apply to flower cycle? Not referring to the final flush
