HELP! making lotion with Simpson's Oil

Thanks for your great video, yesterday I made Simpson's oil and have 12 ml of oil. I am a first-time grower (outside in Colorado). I want to make some lotion using the oil. The only recipe I can find calls for 1/2 cup of cannabis-infused olive oil using a total of 1 cup of combined oil, shea butter, and beeswax. Does anyone have any ideas? I have MS and am trying to find something topical for pain.

Hey adriennesj, I make a lotion but I infuse cannabis into coconut oil here is the link to my recipe.
Hello, I'm Mr.Furley and this will be my thread. CANNA SALVE/LOTION RECIPE: 1. Melt 2 cups of coconut oil in the microwave down to a liquid. 2. preheat

I knew I saw this somewhere been looking for half an hour now finally thought I should just search for lotion. Too many bong hits during the game. Thanks!

I would back calculate how much flower/trim you used to get the 12 mL of RSO.

The recipe from Wake and Bake uses 7 g of trim or bud for 1 cup of coconut oil.

So if it took 12 ounces of flower to produce the 12 mL of RSO or 1 ounce/mL or 28 g/mL, you should add 0.25 mL to 1 cup of coconut oil.

Personally since I am not short of flower or trim, I usually add more than the suggested for whatever recipe I am following.

I hope this wasn't too confusing.

Here is a link to the recipe I used and it turned out great.

Ever since I gave up food blogging (about a week ago), it feels like a part of me is missing. Am I an incomplete person without food porn? Maybe. Is that sad? Yes. Will I post this Cannabis salve instead just so I can curb the food porn itch? Obviously. Can't stop. Won't stop. Want to stop. Help me. Is there a support group for recovering food photographers? I hope so.

I used avocado oil instead of olive oil since I bought it for the lip balm recipe anyways.

On a side note, IMO the recipe you shared looks like it will end up quite solid when it sets. If it does, I would suggest putting it in a new deodorant stick (available at soap supply store). Then you can just rub it on your sore spots from the stick; you could also make pour some into lip balm tubes and always have some on hand when you leave the house.

Thanks so much - not confusing. Yes, it is quite solid unless I mix it during cooling. I like your idea of the deodorant stick and lip balm.

If you follow the recipe I linked to, she whips hers with a blender after it sets for a bit.
