I realized pretty quickly the viparspectra are great for veg but a little weak in the flower area. They have alot of blue but not so much in the red spectrum. But Ive seen great results from people using them all the way from start to finish. Great inexpensive alternative to all the expensive lights out there. Great starter light.

ID:	146015 oct18th when I hung the cob light. I forgot to turn power all the way up for 2 weeks after I put them under it. Just say in look into building yourself 1. Check out rapid led. The driver cost 150 dollars of purchase price, I can still add 1 more cob, to push 280 watts, in my 2x4 tent.

ChilLED also has a 500 W kit that doesn't require any soldering, it has connectors that you only need to clip together. Grow Mouse (growmau5) is working with ChilLED so I trust they are putting out a great product. Personally if I were in the States, I would go with a PLC6. Probably only $100 to $150 more than what you could build it for, well worth it for those who don't want to build their own.
