    Seedlings too tall?

Wow dude, you need to get some lights over those seedlings quick on an 18/6 light cycle. That's like super leggy.

It's a contest to see which one can get the most light. Which you can slow down if you lower your lights.

ya Rick your lights are to far away the problem with plants stretching that far is that they don't have the strength to hold themselves up and they fall over and then dampen off and die, your in hydro so you cant plant them deep . maybe if you support them somehow until they get bigger,(maybe a straw sliced up the middle so you can carefully place them around the stems) , also are you giving them cal,mag or silica both help build stronger stems good luck. listen if they dont make it just chalk it up to a lesson and move on its something we have all done at some point good luck you are in for a amazing experience . T5s are a good light to veg with so are cfls t5s you can lower right to the plant about 4 inches away if its hot to your hand then its hot for your plant. LEDS work to but its a little harder to get the distance right it could be 15,18,20 inches away but its up to your plant , I start my leds at 18 then if they dont burn plants or plants stretch to much I lower them if it does burn I raise them hope that helps. I buy my t5 at growershouse.com best pricing i.ve found
new grow room built summer of 2017 ,argo max tent for veging ,big kahuna reflector, 1000hps with added leds for the full spectrum . 15th indoor grow ,5 years outside gorilla grows(stealth is the key),veg under t5s growing autos under 300w leds
