I bought the 450W instead of the 300 because I thought it would provide more light and only cost $45 more. It claims to max out for a 2.5x2.5... I have 2x2x4 tent so I thought I was good. Is it possible to have too much light for a small grow space? I did move the light down to 18" yesterday on only the VEG mode. They do look to be happy and growing but leaves from the stems out are light green and get darker to the tips(see new pics). It doesn't really show in the pics, maybe I'm overthinking it... but I've read a lot about LED issues when the light is too close.

on another note... when I flip to flower, how militant do I need to be about light leaks? When the room is dark and the tent is closed, I can see light seepage in some light spots on the zipper. Do I need to put some electrical or duct tape over those spots?

Oh yeah, the dirt and plant ties should arrive today. They seem to be responding to me just bending them down so far... I'll post new pics Friday, that's 1 week after topping.

What light? It makes a difference as to how close. But 18 inches seems a little bit close for where your plants are right now. 18 inches in flower is usually good and even closer depending on strain and light.

Pretty sure they tell you 28 or 30 inches or more at seedling stage and 24 inch early veg. Then you gradually drop the light or do what I do, just lt em grow up into the light.Careful you dont burn em.

Dutchman that's what I've been watching for. I finally got some adjustable hangers and now have the light at 24"... They're looking good this morning, I'll post pics tomorrow
