    LED lights

Can someone please give me some information on these led single screw-ins, that they sell everywhere now. I heard they might be good if I cut the top off. Thank you.

We have no idea what kinda leds ur talking about could u please load a link? Lol p.s leds are awesome lights! They will not give u the yeild that an hps will BUT! They grow the plant way better with less power. The only bad thing about leds. They act like lazer beams 90percent of the useable energy only gows straight down so u need more lights to cover more area. But the spectrums of all the colors do amazing things for the plants! I love leds. When I grow I use leds mh and hps all at the same time for best growth.

Did some quick searches, it seems these LED'S are used mostly for marker lights on various vehicles. I don't know if the spectrums or intensity is there for growing??!! sorry bro, but if it's any consolation, I've started using viperspectra LED's (2- 450 watt). They seem to work well and they are affordable in comparison to other companies. Good luck with your research!!

My first is a marshydro 300, but my next will most likely be a viparspectra. Got the mars as it was on sale, but would prefer the veg/bloom/full control and daisy chaining of the vipar.
