    Veg pollenation-what to do?

    Hi Everyone,

I have some plants that have been in Veg for almost two months when I picked them up. Looks like one of the plants may have been in flower for about week before I picked them up. The one that was likely in flower randomly hermed and pollinated my room of Veg plants. My question is, what can I do to get rid of the pollen for sure? I need to put these plants into flower in the next day or two.

Another Veg plant in pic number two looks like it’s starting to flower despite being under 24 hour light.

Also, has anyone used a pollen dectector? I was thinking about purchasing one to monitor pollen levels.

    Thanks for your help.

I don't think a pollen detector would be too helpful. They are machines that detect particles in the air (pollen, dust etc) and give you an idea of the air quality. Most are not qualitative detectors of any pollen in the area. Are you sure that first pic is a hermie or just a male? The pollen sacs I see are mostly early. Did they actually pop open and leak pollen? You can give your plants a good wash and consider putting a HEPA air filter in the room. Are you sure these are not Autos?

I agree with newf literly spray and wash ur plants comepletly wash the wall ceiling roof everything also add a hepa/ air purifyer on high and a dehumifyer if u can if not make sure u have enough fans to dry ur plants. Moisture will kill pollen and also pollen only lasts at hot temps for 5-6 days. This is not a gurentee but it will help. The air purifyer will help pull the pollen outa the air and the water will help kill the pollen

This is all very helpful. Plants are not autos. I’m going to wash and use the humidifier. I’ll have to pick up an air purifier. These are great ideas.

Am I missing something ? Can plants show pollen sacs in a vegging state ? If they are not Autos. I'm learning something here.

I think before he got the plants he was told they had been in veg for 2 months but it is possible some were exposed to 12 hours of dark because soon after getting they seemed to flower.
