Shopping for another LEC 315, what's your recommendation?

Hey friends, slowly making my way back to the forum as the j.o.b. and weather start to cool down... I might even start posting again on the youtube channel Green75 and myself host... (unshameful plug...) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzg...K1hpw7oyWWf1TQ

So I'm in the process of revamping my shed and need a 4th lec 315. Can't afford Sun System at the moment so how's yours performing? Interested in hearing from Nanolux, hydroplanet, owners in particular...
    Cheers!!! And stay lifted!!!

Hey everyone thanks for chiming in! Pulled the plug this morning and bought a nanolux lec 315 for $199 at Grow World, bulb not included. Ballast is attached, oh well, and the hood is a bit flimsy compared to sun systems but I might be able to replace it down the road. Got a good feeling about this unit! The ballast seems to run pretty quiet and cool...

Vapo69 And 3 days later this fixture is the shit! Less heat compared to my galaxy ballast, measured and compared light outputs of all the lights in the shed and it’s toe to toe with sun system and viparspectra units. Mic dropped, the Acres are lit proper like now!

Dude I am very happy for you, just out of interest.....is the inside of the hood mirrored or dimpled?.....Sun systems claim 25% more reflective output with mirrored.......I think lol.....I wondered if it's worth changing my hood.

It’s mirrored but on top of my head I think there was just a 20 or 30 par difference between sun System and nanolux. Need to remember to show those results here, very enlightening stuff! 😜

How does a 315lec stack up to a 1000w hps?

Supposed to replicate 600 hps I’ve been told. Now the double ended 630lec would be a different story!
