Tips and advice on growing outdoors in Costa Rica

My experience is growing indoors DWC. However I anticipate moving to Costa Rica and will be attempting to grow outdoors there. As I'm used to 18/12 veg and 12/12 flowering cycles, I'm not sure what to expect with the constant 12 hour daylight 12 hour night cycle. How will it affect the growth cycles of cannabis? Also, I intend to try both indica dominant and sativa dominant strains. I've got some Swiss cheese, AK 48, bubblicious, amnesia haze, Jock Horror, and Girl Scout cookies seeds to work with. Any input as to which of these will or will not do well there? The area I'll be in has a temperature range of low 70s to mid 90s during the growing season. I'd appreciate any advice the forum might be able to help out with.
    Thanks!

You'll be best off with Equatorial Strains, Sativas/Landrace. Such as from Hawaii, Africa etc.

IIRC Costa Rica is like 10 degrees North off the equator which means you won't have an actual 12/12 year round but closer to 11/13 winters and 12/12 summers. This will be enough for the correct strains to flower, coupled with other environmental ques.

To do Indicas or indica hybrids I think you'll have to veg indoors and move outdoors for flowering, otherwise I suspect they'll start to flower almost immediately and not veg enough.

      Best of luck

Danger danger my father retired in 1999 move to Costa Rica unless the laws have changed their and I'm unaware of that one thing you do not want to get caught doing is anything with marijuana or any drug. My wife and I took a trip little surf town, Jaco , on the way into town we were stopped at a roadblock being American or gringo we had to exit the vehicle we're both patted down and the dog went through everything we had unavoidable thank God I knew better. One place you don't want to be is in a Costa Rican jail.
