    Help with growing lights!!!!!!!

I grow my plants outdoors but during this week is gonna be a little tough because of the rain and the storms. So I have 3 Grand Daddy Purple seedlings that germinated yesterday so they are really sensible to let them just like that outside. I decided to put them under artificial light until the rainy days are over. One of them is under CFL's, and I know that it will work, but in the other side.. the other 2 are under my bathroom's lights and I don't know if it works. The type of bulb is a R20 50W. Let me know please.

    Peace

Dunno if that'll work. If I were you I'd buy other CFL's just to make sure. Better safe than sorry.

Until you get better lights, your little seedlings are just going to stretch up and up in search of light. And not much in the leave production. Because it wants the light so it can spread its roots.

Cfls will work but normal light bulbs will not work. With cfls u need 50-100watts per sq foot also keep ur cfls like 5-7inchs away. Normal light bulbs dnt work because they do not give the right spectrum for plant growth.

Maybe they're too close. You're struggling a bit, I advise you to read some topics @GWE website. I usually don't say this to people but any knowledge is good in this case.

For those little seedling 40 watts will be enough. What size of cfls are those? For seedling week 1,2 I use a 45w led and its more than enough

Make sure to keep ur lights real close around the 6inch mark or ur plants will strech to much. There looking real gd by the way
