Water until 15 or 20 percent of what you used comes out the bottom of the pot. You water when your pot is light pick it up when dry it's light, water them then pick it up ,it's heavy now. It's real easy. MJ in pots don't like lots of water. Water them only when the soil is dry ,an the pots are light and the plants have almost started wilting. Mine are in 3 gallon SmartPots and I water every 3 or 4 days. I hope this helps you some and good luck MMM.

That's probably why you plants look like they do ,I ain't trying to be mean either. If you are adding nutrients, you need to water till you get runoff. Read Nebulas articles on watering on GWE if you do not believe. You have got to let your soil dry before giving more water or you will suffocate them.

For an easy example MM, say you put 5 gallons of PhD water in 1 gallon should come out the bottom. That's just an example. You want to see about 15 percent of what you put in come out the bottom. It helps prevent salt build-up in your plants among other things. Hope that helps.

Hey MM,
that's some great advice from Daas and Canuck. I would like to add that your pots with only four small holes, taking a week to dry out can start to be a problem. You could start to have mold, bugs, and root problems, if it was my pots I'd poke some more holes in the bottom. You want good drainage and air flow to your roots, for strong healthy plants you need to have strong healthy roots I would also increase your air flow with fans in your grow room and try to hit a 3 to 4 day dry out time between feeding/water.
good luck.
