    Plant after harvesting...

Good afternoon, I'm new to the forum and also a first time grower.
I have a question and it may be silly so please forgive me but this is my first time growing so I don't know much on the topic.

After you cut the branches of bud to let them dry, can the plant or remaining branches produce again? Or you have to start all over with a new plant?

    Thanks...

As long as there is green growth left on the plant, then yes for the most part it will reveg. Not all strains though most of them. Personally have no experience with it.

      Welcome Alonso

Yes just cut the buds like you're prunning! I'd go 24 hour t5 lights but someone knows other ways also.

No question here is too silly to ask. I have no experience revegging a harvested plant but yes, it can be done. For future reference, take a small cutting, called a clone, right before switching to bloom cycle. Let it grow roots, keep it pruned back and when ready, let her do her thing. You can take multiple clones, and you can also take a clone of a clone.

          Thanks for the welcome...
Are you saying that I can just prune the bud off the branch without cutting off the entire branch?

But I can only do this before the plant starts to bud... right?

In my case, my plant is almost at harvest so I wouldn't be able to.

Yes ready to harvest time you just prune off the bud. And change off 12/12 lights.

Cut down all the big cola branches to hang. I have heard (no experience) then switch those lights back to 20/4 and give a growth nutrient, it will start to grow new foliage.

What about taking clones off of her ? would they be weak budded?

I'd say yes....Anything after full bloom is just the
plant trying to survive...in my opinion

I never tried to cut clones off one once I saw the turn around never ever was worth it.

Really? There was just a thread started a few days ago (I don't remember who started it). They do just that with good results. I don't know, maybe I'm confusing what I've read on different threads and jumbling it all together.

I saw it...good results lye in the eyes of the beholder...

Some people think 1/4 oz. Bud of one plant is good...

You are probably better off just buying some feminine seeds, so many to chose from, and starting over. Take a few clones before throwing the plant into bloom cycle. You can keep it going that way for a long time I would think.
